If you have ever heard someone say that we are spiritual beings having a human experience, you are probably part of a spiritual community or, at the very least, you are interested in exploring spirituality.
Some of us are aware of our divine self, our abilities, our sensitivities, our gifts. Some of us are proud of these gifts. We think they make us special, different from normal people.
Being aware of these innate human abilities is unique in some ways because the majority of humans are not aware that they have extrasensory abilities. But we all do. We all have the abilities, some of us just aren’t aware and others haven’t mastered them.
So what does it mean to be a spiritual being having a human experience? What is the purpose? How do we master our abilities?
If you exist in a human body, there is a reason why you are here. One way or another, you are here to evolve as a soul. You have chosen particular experiences that will cause you to evolve from the highest perspective of yourself.
If you have discovered about yourself that you have innate extrasensory gifts that you have brought with you, it is certain that you have also brought or chosen some equal amount of darkness or shadow that your soul intends to evolve as well.
So, one part of your evolution is to learn how to master having and using those divine gifts while you are existing in human form. The other part is to use your gifts to transform the familiar shadows into the light.
What does that look like?
For each of us, it is different.
First of all, I would say that whatever shadow you brought with you is the one you see in your experience most often. It would not be a totally unfamiliar shadow that you don’t recognize. It would have to be the one(s) you recognize most frequently and the one you are most familiar with. Your familiarity is what will enable to do the work required to transform it.
You will want to ask yourself what the higher meaning is of each experience you have.
